I woke up. For real this time. That dream seemed so real. I was a cat laying in a queen sized bed with red velvet sheets made of silk. Bella was not there. There was no sign that she was ever there. No other wrinkles in the bed sheets, and it wasn't even the same room. This room I was in had a small table beside it with cat food on the plate. I looked to the door to find a butler standing there.
"It's good to see you're awake, Master Daniel," he said in an accent that sounded way too perfect. He didn't smile once. It may have been "good," but obviously he didn't care.
"Where's Bella?" I tried to ask him, but I soon remembered he couldn't understand me. I jumped off the bed and walked up to the door. The butler opened it for me and I headed toward the front gates. Gabriel should have an explanation. I felt an immense spike of pain. Physical pain. Like I was being whipped and beaten. I then knew where she was.
I ran down to the dungeon where I heard a voice speaking to someone.
"How do we break the curse, witch?" the voice screamed. No one answered and I felt another sharp pain as the whip cracked.
