The mermaid, wearing a floor-sweeping skirt and covered with a blanket, was hardly recognizable as a mermaid.
Beris was somewhat dazed looking at the mermaid.
Almost staring blankly.
Donna couldn't care less what Beris was thinking about.
He simply reached out to brush off the snowflakes clinging to Su Yan.
Su Yan lowered his head, looking at the mermaid, and asked seriously,
"Do you want to see the snow again tomorrow?"
Donna looked at Su Yan's earnest lion face.
He couldn't help but want to laugh.
How could his little lion be so silly?
He leaned over, came up to Su Yan's cheek, and gently kissed it.
"No need to go."
Those soft lips uttered these few words.
Su Yan nodded
He silently took out some candy, first feeding a piece to the mermaid, then peeled one for himself.
The tacit understanding between the two left Beris so shocked that he couldn't utter a single word.
Donna's eyes swept over Beris inconspicuously while his hand held onto Su Yan's soft and fleshy palm.
