December 31, 2021, the last day of the year.
At 5 p.m., it wasn't completely dark yet.
70 kilometers upstream from Los Angeles Port, a cargo ship was quietly docked at the shore.
A dozen white men, armed with automatic weapons, stood on the shore, seemingly waiting for something.
Moments later, lights flickered in the distance.
The white men exchanged a few words, and someone flashed a strong light towards the distance several times.
Seconds later, the headlights in the distance also blinked rhythmically.
A convoy slowly approached, with three large trucks in the middle, flanked by a total of twelve black cars on both sides.
The convoy quickly reached the docking area of the cargo ship. People got out of the vehicles, everyone armed and cautiously surveying the surroundings.
Someone approached and started talking with the white men. They seemed quite familiar with each other, exchanged a few simple words, and then led the way to the back of the trucks for an inspection.
