Lynch has been incredibly busy these past few days. After just inspecting the club and sending off the very excited Baron Reynolds, the Fox father and son told him that James's script was finished.
It was a script that met the needs of the "modern person," with elements of aliens, gore, beauties, and an endlessly exciting plot. Just by seeing this script, the Fox father and son realized how awful the previous script from Little Fox's schoolmate had been; they were really there, as Lynch had said, to swindle money.
James's script included a large number of storyboard shots, which is a scriptwriting method that was gradually becoming popular. In the past, many scripts contained only plain text descriptions.
However, as more and more failures resulted in filmmakers shifting blame behind the scenes, screenwriters undoubtedly became the most severely injured group. Regardless of whose fault it was, they could always blame the screenwriter.
