Though it took a detour, Mort still accurately located the original direction. This is a basic ability of the Void Treeman; without it, moving in the Void would be impossible.
In addition, Mort had a very special skill. Its roots would penetrate the space and then forcefully, the whole body would slide rapidly through the Void as if something ahead was pulling it along.
Gliding all the way to the end, it finally saw what was pulling it—it was its own roots.
Relying on this ability, Mort could swiftly glide through the Void, quickly delving into a vast distance within the Boundless Space Hole.
