Flynn Taylor walked out of the River State police station with Ave Carlisle's shoulder in his arm, just in time to see a car pull up. If he wasn't mistaken, it was the same car belonging to Brown Rule he had recently investigated.
Investigating Brown Rule naturally he knew the reason he had come to the police station, it was likely to protect Mr. Taylor's brother-in-law from the Southern Region.
Not wanting the woman to have any more contact with Brown Rule, Flynn Taylor purposely twisted her shoulder and pointed to the Coffee Shop nearby, saying, "I want a coffee."
Unaware of the man's intentions, Ave Carlisle said, "Drinking coffee all the time is not good for you!"
"Then I'll have a milk tea."
Ave Carlisle wanted to roll her eyes but was still dragged into the Coffee Shop by the man.
