However, at that point, the strategic outlook had collapsed so much that it was hard to imagine that even a Transcendent Caliber Martial Artist could possibly reverse the tides. And indeed, Rui's individual combat power in and of itself, as spectacular as it was, was not enough to turn the tide simply due to the fact that he was one man who could not be everywhere all the time.
And yet, his return had shockingly brought in the Beast Excursion with him as the Emperor of the Beast Domain and an alliance with Jormungandr and the Great Nam Ocean.
That had been just enough.
