The door was wide open, and the scene in front of her made her blood boil.
Her cousin Jin Mu was being held by two men.
One of them had grabbed her from behind, holding her arms tight so she couldn't move.
The other one stood in front of her, grinning with a disgusting smile on his face.
Pei Ke was on the floor, blood dripping from his forehead. He looked dizzy, like he had been hit hard.
Jin Mu was struggling, kicking, trying to get free, but the man behind her was too strong. Her face was pale with fear.
"Let go of me!" she shouted. "Help! Let me go!"
The man in front laughed. "You're too pretty to be yelling like that. Don't waste your breath."
Gu Jin stood at the door, her red eyes glowing faintly.
She didn't scream. She didn't shout.
She simply stepped inside.
Her boots made a soft sound against the floor.
The two men turned toward her.
"W-Wait! I didn't touch her! I was just—"
He didn't get to finish either.
