Hearing the question, Valyr immediately looked back at the man with confusion. "Didn't you make a similar offer to me during the tournament?"
"I did." Julian confirmed his suspicions. "However, the offer I made back then and the offer I'm making now are completely different things."
Seeing Valyr raise his eyebrow in response, the man took it upon himself to explain. "Back then, I asked you if you'd be interested to work as an assistant for Byron, right?"
"Yeah." Valyr nodded. "You said it was to help with forging special weapons for the empire."
"The end goal is still the same," clarified Julian. "You'd still be helping make special weapons for the empire."
"But unlike before, where you'd be under Byron as one of his assistant, you'll be in charge of forging one of the special weapons instead."
