As Iris laid in the bed during the day without her wanting to sleep. She thought about the fight and what she did.
"Why did I raise my arm?" This question seemed to haunt her.
No matter how much she thought of it. Nothing seemed to answer the question.
For Liz, she wondered why she started with such a high kick to make her vulnerable. Instead of becoming vulnerable, Iris took the kick. This made Liz wonder why the duo would have done this the same.
"Too much to think about." Liz concluded.
Each punch and kick she began to analyze. Each time her punch or kick connected, why did it now feel like it hurt her instead of Iris?
"I know Iris is currently wondering about the block with her forearm. I can think of three reasons for this.
First, we spent too time on Earth and learned how they fought in kickboxing.
Second, she wanted to prove something when she blocked the kick.
Lastly, I hate this idea but she did what was natural to her at that moment. I feel like this is the answer but I want to be proven wrong."
Liz felt that this was the truth and went to talk about it with Iris. At the time, Iris was sleeping. Liz returned and awaited a time to be able to talk to Iris.
Iris had been up and down has she continued the pattern of recovery and sleep. After the first day, her arm had already almost recovered.
She finally decided to think hard about the block with her arm. She remembered how they watched kickboxing and would block like that.
"Is that the reason?" Iris began to sweat.
Was watching something entertaining the reason why her arm was broken for an entire day?
"What if the reason is something deeper?"
She began to think about their fight.
Each punch and kick that she could think about that actually connected. She began to feel hurt about it herself. This brought her to feel bad.
She did not want to bother Liz about the fight. She did want to know if she felt the same way about the fight.
Finally, the third day after the fight. The duo were fully recovered and felt amazing. The duo knew that they needed to get some more of these aromas.
"This will be a good opportunity to talk about what is in the aromas." Iris thought.
Within seconds of Iris thinking that, Liz also thought of that. The duo started to make their way to the Oracle. Their rooms were far apart. This made it where they did not know that the opposite was heading to the Oracle.
As they both turned a corner and saw each other. The duo smiled seeing the other fully recovered.
They continued to the Oracle to figure out what was in the aromas. As they sat down in front of the Oracle.
"I want to talk about your fight if the two of you are alright with that?" The Oracle asked.
Their faces showed that they did not want to. The Oracle was already thinking that they did not want to talk about.
"Maybe after we talk about it ourselves." Liz spoke up.
This sparked a joy within the Oracle because this meant that they had not only grown during the fight but the after effects were continuing to affect them now.
"Alright. Be sure to talk to me when the two of you are ready."
The Oracle began to explain the aromas. The duo were shocked to hear about the reasoning why they worked so well.
