"Attack!"

With the order given, everyone moved and started attacking the unicorn creature.

Everyone moved forward, their weapons all drawn and pointed at the creature. It was caught unaware, neighing and moving to deal with its attackers.

Narrowing his eyes, Long Tian attacked swiftly. With the z-steel sword in his hand, he cut at its back legs.

Sha!

The thing about sacred-blood creatures is, their flesh is tougher than it seems. The White-Bellied Porcupine on the other hand had a thin stomach because it was its weakness.

His sword barely cut half an inch into its legs, but that was enough.

In pain, the unicorn creature faltered in its attack.

It gave Qin Xuan and the rest ample time to attack. A split second much needed.

Their attacks landed and all the arrows from Yang Manli's group was sent over. Flying and whistling through the air, the arrows landed on the unicorn creature. Some pierced and others bounced of it.

Neigh!

The creature huffed and charged forward, its sharp horn pointed at the person right in front of it, Qin Xuan.

"Hah!"

Qin Xuan jumped to the side and shapeshifted into her mutant lion beast soul.

Slashing her claws at the beast, Qin Xuan barely left some wounds on it, but that wasn't the end of it. She growled and continued to attack along with the rest of the elites of Bullseye.

Whilst every other member attacked and tried their best to deal damage. They all tired the creature and slowly wore it down.

Huff!

The creature, all bloody and tired, moved.

It's blood flowed out of its body, its eyes were bloodshot and its breath was heavy. It needed to flee, but there was no opening.

The horse huffed and turned its head, its gaze landing on the weakest link of the encirclement.

Neighing with all its might, the unicorn winded up, lifting its legs high in the air before kicking forward. Using its weight and momentum to propel itself forward.

It's head lowered, horn pointed forward towards its freedom.

It moved swiftly.

Everyone watched in panic and worry as the black unicorn sped forward to the weakest person in the group.

Su Xiaoqiao

He was frozen in shock.

Everyone watched, incapable of doing anything. What could they do? Their speed was slower than the unicorn creature's, not to mention its strength.

Su Xiaoqiao stood there, frozen in shock. Death running at him and his mind buzzing in fear.

"No…" he weakly cried as he looked into the pitch black horn.

Qin Xuan tried her best to run over, but she knew it wasn't possible to do anything. Even Yang Manli, her bow lifted and drawn, could only weakly lay it down.

Her skills as an archer weren't immaculate. There were too many people in her line of sight towards Su Xiaoqiao.

At that point, everyone was already prepared to here the pitiful cries of help from Su Xiaoqiao.

Even he knew that death was coming. All he could do was look at the sad and angsty looks everyone had as they looked towards him.

He closed his eyes, ready.

The sound of the unicorn creature's hooves thundered in his ears. Growing louder within milliseconds.

Then…

Silence…

It grew quiet.

Not a single sound entered his ears. Su Xiaoqiao was ready to believe he was dead, but the gentle breeze and the smell of the lake greeted him.

Opening his eyes, Su Xiaoqiao saw a young man standing over the dead body of the unicorn. Flipped and on the floor, the unicorn creature had a twisted neck.

Including Su Xiaoqiao, everyone was in shock.

Wide eyes as they looked at the golden eyed man.

"Holy shit…"

Someone finally said something.

It broke through the silence, and then… cheers erupted.

"Woooah!"

"A master!"

"What move was that?"

"A hyper geno art?!"

Standing to the sides, both Yang Manli and Qin Xuan were breathing heavily. Amazement and shock filled them and drowned away the worry they held.

But, right now, a single figure had a lot of questions right now.

Su Xiaoqiao looked at Long Tian after falling to the floor. Relief had filled him and his jelly legs collapsed. His heart was ready to escape from his body and he couldn't stop the trembling.

"Fuck…" he cursed. "Thank you!" He thanked Long Tian with the most amount of gratitude he could.

If Long Tian wasn't here, Su Xiaoqiao would have met his end here and no longer exist. Death was greeting him, and someone stopped it.

At that moment, he could see as Long Tian slowly turned and placed his golden gaze on him.

Thump!

Su Xiaoqiao felt his body tingle under that piercing gaze.

"Hey," Long Tian called out.

Affixing his gaze onto Long Tian's golden eyes, Su Xiaoqiao placed all his attention on him.

"You're alive, make sure you do your best to take advantage of that. Don't let yourself die so easily."

With that said, Su Xiaoqiao watched as Long Tian walked away and was swarmed by many people. He watched as he disappeared in the crowd of people, staying back and on the ground, alone.

Yet he didn't feel alone.

He stood up, still shaky, but different.

His gaze was still locked onto where Long Tian was.

***

Returning to Steel Armor Shelter, Bullseye had already distributed the meat and eaten it on their return trip. A majority of the sacred-blood meat was given to Long Tian as he not only gave the final blow, but because of how impressive he was during the confrontation against the unicorn creature.

Two weeks passed in the blink of an eye and they arrived at Steel Armor Shelter in high spirits.

Long Tian, Qin Xuan, and Yang Manli, all went to Qin Xuan's office to talk.

They stood there, looking at Long Tian.

"How did you kill it?" Qin Xuan finally asked.

Yang Manli nodded her head as well, curious to know as well.

Compared to Qin Xuan who had a clear view and was simply still in disbelief, Yang Manli couldn't see much from her position in the back.

She wanted to know how exactly Long Tian had killed the unicorn creature.

"You want to know how I killed it?" Long Tian asked, a little smile on his face.

He looked at the serious, yet curious, expressions on both Qin Xuan and Yang Manli's faces.

"You don't want to know if I got its beast soul?"

Qin Xuan bit her lip and shook her head.

"Even if you got it, it would be yours. You were simply amazing that time… I can't get that moment out of my head… I'm sure the rest are still talking about it as well." Qin Xuan said, her authoritative voice soft.

Nodding his head, Long Tian recounted what had happened.

He was near the unicorn creature, stalking its every move. With his experience in Xingyiquan, he had become extremely familiar with the movements and thought processes of many creatures.

It's thought had just shifted to fleeing when he had already noticed it beforehand.

Long Tian moved.

Despite being vastly slower compared to the unicorn creature, having great intuition and comprehending its thought process, Long Tian knew what it would do next.

In an instant, he found Su Xiaoqiao.

Although not a true elite, Su Xiaoqiao did possess good geno points and also sponsored Bullseye every now and then. It allowed him to get a spot on the hunting team and be allowed to join.

As Long Tian ran, he found the inefficiency in lack of movement hyper geno art. His movement and footwork from was hardly enough for him to be fast enough.

Being resourceful, Long Tian made do with what he had. Deciding to leave this problem for another day.

Instead, he focused and moved faster.

Using what he knew about , Long Tian was able to move slightly faster as he was able to explosively move his legs. Putting himself into motion and arriving in front of Su Xiaoqiao.

The poor young man had already closed his eyes, but Long Tian didn't pay him any attention.

His eyes were trained on the unicorn creature.

It's muscular body moved, mighty legs stomping into the ground and propelling itself forward with great momentum.

Long Tian could just hear it, the strong breath it had. The sound of its muscles… its pumping blood… its thumping heart…

He could see it!

Like an invisible flow…

'Can I manipulate that flow?'

He saw the moving momentum, and in a moment of such clarity, Long Tian reached forward.

The unicorn creature was extremely fast, but at that moment, the Yin-Yang Symbol in his Sea of Consciousness seemed to spin faster. It sped up his senses and brought a higher sense of clarity to him.

His hands moved, grabbing onto the unicorn creature's head. He could clearly feel it at that moment, the momentum.

Twisting the head of the unicorn creature, Long Tian guided the flow of the momentum and managed to lift the heavy half a ton unicorn creature.

Through its pure momentum, Long Tian was able to lift the creature and twist its neck before guiding the momentum back down and slamming the creature down to the floor.

BANG!

The creature fell and its eyes had turned lifeless.

"Sacred-Blood Fallen Unicorn killed. Beast soul gained. Eat its flesh to gain 0 to 10 sacred-blood geno points randomly."

The Fallen Unicorn was killed in an instant and Long Tian was still immersing himself in that feeling. Guiding the momentum, the flow and manipulating it.

It felt so clear and his golden eyes swirled as he absorbed the experience and further contemplated on it…

"You… used martial arts?"

Snapping out of his thoughts, Long Tian looked at Qin Xuan, back in her office.

"Yes," he nodded. "At such short distance and with the might the Fallen Unicorn was carrying, my sword would be able to kill it, but both I and Su Xiaoqiao would be gravely injured."

Long Tian explained and Qin Xuan nodded, understanding.

Yet even then, she found it shocking.

Martial arts?

Were they always this powerful? The move that Long Tian had performed didn't even carry any strength, yet it had managed to kill a Sacred-blood creature!

'Is this… the power of a TRUE martial arts master?' Qin Xuan thought to herself in awe. She looked at Long Tian and his perfect muscular and lean body.

Hyper geno arts are powerful, extremely so. Even more so when used properly. Yet martial arts were left behind since they didn't carry the necessary lethality against creatures from God's Sanctuary.

It only allowed one to better move their body or enhance their fighting capability. Not their fighting strength.

So, what Long Tian had done was nothing but a miracle.

In all honesty, both Qin Xuan and Yang Manli were completely stunned and couldn't believe what they had witnessed and heard.

At that moment, Qin Xuan recalled some tales from the very distant past.

Back before humans had discovered technology, martial artists were as numerous as leaves on a tree. Practicing martial arts that numbered in the millions, spreading and growing.

Yet true martial artists were as rare as finding a diamond. Martial artists that truly mastered a martial art and proved its strength.

After all, the strength of a martial artist doesn't lay in the arts he practices, but in himself. Every martial art has its own strength, it is up to the practitioner to draw out that strength.

And those true martial artists rose above and transcended those very martial arts. Creating a new and more spiritually profound art, Qi-Gong.

The original and vastly superior form of hyper geno arts.

As a famous and powerful family, Qin Xuan was privy to some information. In today's day and age, only five Qi-Gong remain from that very distant past.

At that moment, Qin Xuan felt shivers throughout her entire body as a bold thought appeared in her head.

'Will Long Tian create his own Qi-Gong as well? To transcend martial arts and go even further beyond?!'

The thought excited her, and the way she looked at Long Tian had changed once more.

How amazing!

How grand!

How… HEAVEN DEFYING!

She wished to see it happen. She wished to be there when it happens.

The birth of a Qi-Gong, and the birth of a Heavenly(Tian) Dragon(Long).

A broad smile spread on Qin Xuan's face, a look of infatuation spread on her face as she looked at Long Tian. Her heart was beating rapidly and she even felt her face heat up.
