By the time Charles had returned to the round disc, the variety of weapons and Special Task Force soldiers that had been there before had vanished without a trace, leaving behind only an empty plaza.
Shanshan held Charles' hand, looking around with an air of excitement.
He had seen such a plaza once before at the Second Laboratory, and for some reason, the Foundation always liked to create these kinds of semicircular halls within their buildings.
Standing in the center of the plaza, Charles turned his head towards Parker behind him, "Aren't you going to introduce me? Here, you are the hosts, and I am the guest."
Parker stepped forward, leading the way. "The entire shelter is divided into four levels, and is enormous in scale, with many complex roadways. If you truly wish to search for the key with your own eyes, it might well take you several months."
"I can take you to the Central Bureau. There, we can look at all of the surveillance footage covering the entire shelter."
