The paladin growled as he jumped back, his right eye blind. But that didn't even dent his resolve. With both madness and divine magic running through his veins, he leaped back at Arad like a hungry beast, swinging his swords at blinding speed.
The two flashed across the battlefield, leaving wakes of destruction in their path as all the other half-angels were forced to evade them. Each time their swords clashed, a blinding flash illuminated the ground, and powerful shockwaves roared across the sky, shaking the whole world.
Arad didn't care about what the paladin could do. That man would never be able to harm him, but he had learned the hard way not to underestimate paladins.
It was then that the paladin charged forward, a suicidal attack at full force. He threw all defenses down, dropped caution, and lunged head-first into Arad's deadly attack. For a moment there, Arad could swear that he saw the man's eyes flash with divine light and brilliance.
