Every aspect of the city, from the residents to the buildings, was under the protection of a black barrier.
An eerie, bizarre, and terrifying aura pervaded the city.
Above that protective barrier, one could clearly see weird, human-like traces, twisting their limbs at will.
These were movements normal humans could never achieve, resembling ghosts.
Faintly and intermittently, one could also hear strange, hoarse cries filled with pain and despair.
Although this was meant to protect the city... was this not some awful Hell?
