Feeling a bit sorry for the man who was still struggling to breathe, Suga took a few steps back. The man finally straightened up to sit and patted his chest as if it would somehow help him catch his breath.
"Do you work here?" Suga asked, cutting straight to the point.
"Yes, everyone who lives on this island works for the leader!"
"Everyone? Ah, are there about 300 people living here?"
"I don't keep count, so how should I know?"
"Were you born here?"
"Of course."
My answers are obvious! The man grumbled his answer, and Suga narrowed his eyes.
He recalled all the information about this island that he had read from the flashdrive. Luckily, Suga had a sharp memory for important details. Yet, even now, he still couldn't quite believe that he was really here— on this island.
