Spread out before him was a breathtaking view he hadn't laid eyes on in years, so long, in fact, he couldn't even remember the last time he'd heard the gentle crash of waves or caught the salty breeze drifting off the ocean. His feet sank into warm, grainy sand, ringed by towering rocks and trees that framed the secluded cove like nature's amphitheater.
The sea shimmered a brilliant blue under the sun. Suga leaned back against one of the massive rocks, lazily sipping from a freshly hacked coconut. It wasn't like he'd gotten it himself, he'd half-bullied his ever-present bodyguard into fetching it. After all, Hendrick had promised that every desire of his would be granted on this island. Within reason, of course. And a coconut, as the old bastard had pointed out, obviously hardly counted as unreasonable.
