The mist forest; Greensky city. 2999 NA
The mist forest like the name suggests a misty forest that appeared out of nowhere, well not of nowhere but appeared on a certain part and expanded with it as center. It may not a best place for venturing the wild but often some explorers and machineries goes for in searching of treasures.
A deadly place where they can easily get lost even if they were well prepared. It is said to be it is able to confuse ones sences and even hign tech devises and magical devices will lose it's effect. So most will not go deeper in fear of this and only ventur outside.

Now a certain group of people venturing into the wild in search of a specific place, the Skyflare academy, a place at the center of the forest a 1786-year-old academy that became a ruin during the third world shift that happened 999 years ago....

World shift an event that happened all over the world which brought an imminent change to the world and brought the NEW AGE on which these changes started.
On 01. Jan.0000 the era began with a massive earthquake all over the world that caused the death of nearly one twentieth of the world population. Which was later found that it was caused by the movement of tectonic plates all over the world that were moving towards a same place, but most Asians not had this problem because the tectonic plates move on that direction that formed a huge single piece of land that looked like the Pangea.
These movements taken place over that millennia and brought a huge trauma for the people. Then that land is named as Pangea and country system are abolished and governed by the world union. People started to change and adapt to the changes and peace returned but it didn't last long as years passed by the next world shift came.
On 01. Jan. 1000 the next shift happened on which the whole world seemed to be strengthened gradually. The soil became stronger, iron became harder, water became denser, air became purer, the wild life also strengthened gradually, humans also became stronger. Many diseases are cured and become extinct, gradually people became stronger.
On further research they found that the martial artists are became stronger and stronger the further they train hence they start to research on that and found that the reason for this strengthening is the increase of a certain particle or element or energy what the old martial artists called as CHI that was rarely present in past now it was increasing.
To make it easy for understanding it was called as mana all over the world. All the neets that had the dream to became martial artists were existed and started to train, gradually it became an important part of life and developed tremendously even the government supported it fully and made people train. While martial artists gradually become popular another popular group emerged espers.
Due to the increase in mana some people began to awaken some abilities but it began to increase in number and at a stage more than half of the population had some type of ability.
To identify the ability and its function the government start to academies to teach about esper abilities and martial arts. The world also improved in research and development they came with a solution that use of mana instead of petroleum fuels and electricity. The greatest of it was the identification module that helps to identify the ability and their growth talent.
Just when the world started to adapt to this the next shift arrived, it was a huge blow to the humanity. More than three quarter of the population died.
On 01. Jan.2000 the third shift happened the earth began to expand, there was an explosive increase in mana, the arrival of new blessed lands that are created by the world's will a new term the people learned, even though it took a while the government took control again by how easily the government took control again the people were suspected that the government was knew about this from the start.
Hence people rebelled against the government, some prominent families and corporations take advantage of it and forced the government for their advantage. That led to the government dissolved and formed a board that has a total of ten members as a head of each department and other sub board members and a board head elected by the board members and sub members.
Even though this enabled them to control the people that not include the new age people that are present in the blessed lands. They were like NPCs in these blessed cities that are developed to help people to improve. There were some important characters of the past got reborn to improve the humanity.

Now at present these people were venturing to the ruin of the academy to get details of ability of a specific esper 'Carl Raider'. A unique person that happened to be got his ability checked on the day of third shift so there was no data of his ability in the government database. They would have forced him to give information on his ability if he was on spot light before but he was like a rat hidden well and only came out when he had grown to a stage where the government can't control. He appeared on an eventual day and destroyed few families claiming for the grudge he is holding for the past years.
For some reason recently all big families and organizations started to collect data of strong persons alive, due to the rarity of his data it fetches a huge price. It was not known from where this clue was gotten but out of nowhere a piece of news of this figure is started to circulate after a deep research on the viablity of the news it was confirmed by their guild. Hence the team came in hope of finding the academy's data storage if it's still be available. And also, they are not the only group present there are also other groups here, that they will meet soon.
"I think we are near the place." said the man in a skin tight black combat suit that happens to be the leader of the group.
"Boss, is it alright to go there, I heard that it was very dangerous." A person behind the leader asked.
"Yeah, it's dangerous, but nothing will happen to our lives. It may be foggy but does not have any powerful monsters it will be alright." the leader assured.
"Boss! I see there is something glowing at the front." Informed the scout.
"It has to be the place there are reports about it but no one found the reason about it lets go and check the place."
When they go to the location there was a glowing capsule with cracks, unlike the reports mentioning there wasn't anything but the ruin.
All they could say by looking at it was it is a misty capsule.
