I smiled as I finished cleaning up the house. It wasn't all that dirty, but there were some spots that needed a little tidying up.
She hummed and looked around. She hadn't seen her goofball of a husband for a while. Where had he gone off to? Hopefully, he wasn't annoying their grandson. Enji was easily irritated, unlike his twin, Atty. Not that Atty didn't have his own anger issues. He did electrocute Cole's friends on impulse.
Deciding to investigate, Kari made her way towards Enji's room, the most likely place to find her husband.
Kari opened the door slowly, so as not to disturb Enji. A smile spread across her face at the scene before her. Ethan, her husband, was perched on a stool beside Enji, who was meticulously explaining the workings of a rather impressive-looking robotic dog. It was a beautiful creation, intricately detailed and almost lifelike, with a mane designed to mimic the stylized fur of a guardian lion-dog.
