The thought of that sent his heart plummeting to his feet. He stood up and strided towards the water. He laid in it and allowed himself float on the surface. Words could not describe the feelings and thoughts that plaited his heart.
And for the first time, Austin Cannon, the famous mafia lord of the Cannon House, felt true dispair.
'I'll find her. Dead or alive. But she'd better be alive or else...' Austin's consciousness slowly drifted away as water filled his lungs. 'No one in the Underworld would know peace.'

"What were you thinking, Fourth Master Cannon?" Sally softly dabbed Austin's body with a dry towel. "You would have died, drowning yourself like that."
He didn't answer and stared down at the tiles. Sighing, she stood in front of him, slowly raising his head and held his face in her hands. She saw in his eyes, something she had never seen in him before.
Regret, pain and sorrow.
They were emotions that are alien to him. That is, until now
His eyes glistened with unshed tears that threatened to spill from their cage. She pulled him closer, hugging him tightly and gently stroked his hair. He wrapped his arms around her waist and sobbed quietly.
"I'll kill them." He whispered. "I'll kill whoever hurt her. I swear I will."
"Of course." She nodded. "We aren't sure that something's happened to her yet."
He didn't speak and sat quietly. When Sally was sure he was done crying, she wiped his tears and handed him a robe to wear.
"Rest, Master." She said as she walked to the door. "I shall investigate tonight and give you the results tomorrow."
She left the room and closed the door behind her.
'Would you ever cry for me that way? Would you care if I die?' She wondered. 'It doesn't matter anyway.'
