Sophie Sullivan appeared to be in pain, clutching her head with both hands, her body trembling uncontrollably.
She hadn't even noticed when someone entered the bath chamber.
The world around her seemed to vanish before her eyes.
Thomas Shannon bent down and reached out to lift her from the ground, but Sophie Sullivan suddenly opened her eyes. Her eyes were filled with hatred, "Why do you want to kill me?"
Kill? Had she gone mad? Did she not even recognize him?
A faint glimmer of anger flashed in his eyes. Thomas Shannon furrowed his brows, seizing her by the arm, and harshly yanked her up from the ground.
Pulled up with a sudden force, Sophie Sullivan's body collided uncontrollably into his strong embrace.
Her throbbing headache was somewhat alleviated.
