Compared to the ordinary wizard reception area, the VIP reception for big wizards is far more humane.
There are no narrow corridors flanked by towering silver-gray cabinets, nor are there heavy glass windows separating the space. The reception area for big wizards feels more like a cozy study room.
Except this study room is a bit oversized.
Korma estimated that the distance between the floor and the ceiling of this room was at least ten meters. Even with her height, she felt the room was somewhat overwhelmingly spacious.
Too spacious meant it was not entirely vacant.
Directly facing the entrance was a massive desk, surrounded by a few casual, soft sofas. In front of the sofas was a marble-topped coffee table adorned with fresh fruits and various snacks. Surrounding the sofas were lush potted plants, and Korma even noticed an elf clad in transparent silk hiding among the leaves, sneaking greetings at her.
