Two immense figures tumbled and clashed in the canyon for hundreds of rounds, cracking the earth and shattering the rock walls. Luckily, the Death's Trace Canyon was quite spacious; otherwise, it would have been ground away itself.
Soron shouted, "Jessica, deliver a Heavy Strike to create an opening. Without a Soul Void, Rod can't advance!"
Rod said unhappily, "Professor Soron, can you please watch your words?"
Carrying Rod on his back, Soron raced chaotically through the canyon. Weakened by his draining Spiritual Energy, he was sweating profusely. Upon hearing Rod's complaint, he immediately turned around.
"What's the matter? Can't you 'advance'?"
Clearly, he hadn't realized the issue with his language; he was only concerned about whether they could kill the monster.
Rod covered his face, deciding not to fuss over these verbal details any longer.
"I can advance, I'm still able to advance. Stop asking, Professor Soron, I can still move no matter what the situation."
