Chapter 2155 - Battle of Tactical Mastery

The formidable battleships lined up in a formation for a head-on clash, their cannon fire blazing and turning the world pale, blood and fire intertwined—this is the impression people have of fleet battles during the battleship era. During the era of cannon duels, to increase hit accuracy, not only was precise fire control and observation required, but also a sufficient volume of projectile firing within a unit of time. To illustrate, if each side hurls two tons of shells in a minute, one side using 3 rounds of 305mm shells, the other using 40 rounds of 128mm shells, even in the most ideal conditions, at equal distances with identical spread (large caliber guns generally have higher error probability but longer range), the side with the greater quantity will certainly achieve more hits.
