Chapter 43 - Past (Part 2)

At the moment that I was overwhelmed by the voice in my head, I went towards the direction of where my teammates were at.

They sat towards the truck we rode here. It was just a regular Ford F-150 that was modified with heavier armor and mounted with a gun that was hidden in the truck. Sarah laid on top of the hood and the others leaned on the truck and they were tired.

I was slowly succumbing to the voice. The same was going for Sarah. The last mission before, she lost someone dear to her due to a shoot out and had many of her family getting killed. She also had been using military grade cybernetics which further made her psychosis even worse.

I immediately made them go into the truck and had one of them drive the truck to Accordia. While on the way there, I passed a stim to Sarah as she was having psychosis symptoms slowly emerging from herself. We both Injected ourselves with the stims and had our symptoms go away. In an instant we breathed out in satisfaction as our psychotic side has been suppressed.

...

We arrived towards Accordia and got out the truck.

"Are you sure you're going to be alright, Strat?" Asked one of my teammates.

I turned my head to face them and nodded in assurance.

"Okay. Let's go inside." He said in acceptance in my response.

We walked towards the entrance of the bar that Accordia runned. We opened the door and headed inside.

There we were greeted by the owner of the bar, Maria. Though she is old and doesn't have much strength to anything anymore. She still is an important person here, as she organizes the missions here. She sat on a wheelchair as she had been crippled due to losing both of be limbs to cancer.

She showed us to a booth and had us sit there. She then lifted herself off her wheelchair and onto the seat in the booth.

"Abuelita, comó està usted hoy?" I asked her as I stumbled with each step I took before sitting down.( TRANSLATION: Grandma, how are you doing today?)

"Estoy bien, mijito. Solo tenía dolor de cuerpo y tú mijo?" She asked.

(TRANSLATION: I'm doing good, my little child. I only had pain in my body)

"Està Bien abuela. Hey, bring some drinks for her. It's almost time for her to take her pills." I said to my teammates.( TRANSLATION:Well that's good)

"Abuela, me salio un tipo de virus en mi sistema. Tienes alguien que me puede quitar esto?" (TRANSLATION: Grandma, I suddenly got a virus in my system. Do you have anyone who could get rid of it for me?"

"No mijo. Ahorita, no tenemos alguien que te puede aydar. Espera una semana antes que me pidas eso otra vez." (TRANSLATION: No son. Right now, we don't have anyone who could help you. Wait till next week before you ask me that again)

"Okay. Terminamos esa misión que nos diste. Mas mejor que te digo que lo fallamos la mision porque el niño que debimos a salvar ya estaba muerto." I said to her. ( TRANSLATION: We completed that mission you gave us. But I'd better tell you that we failed the mission because the child we were supposed to save was already dead.)

She only sighed before lifting herself and sat up on her wheelchair.

"Està bien." She said before disappearing from the booth.

I only sat there contemplating about the next move. But before I made a decision, I ordered some drinks.

...

From then, I slowly delve further into psychosis as more tragedys began to occur. After a few weeks had past since that day, I was forced into killing Sarah.

"SARAH! GET YOURSELF TOGETHER. IT'S ME SEBASTIAN!!!" I yelled towards Sarah as she tried to attack me with a knife.

She didn't listen to me and began to attack me ferociously. I blocked her knife attacks with my blades. I blocked her attack and kicked her in the stomach which sent her flying to a wall. When she crashed into the wall it left cracks in the wall.

She stopped for a second to readjust her damaged body before attacking once again. She then thrusted her knife forward which left her defenseless. I had no choice but to kill her because if I didn't kill her then she would only harm the people in the city.

As she ran towards me, I took on the attack and embraced her in my arms.

"Sarah, I'm sorry but I had to do this." I whispered in her ears.

I proceeded to relieve her from what she had become and broke her neck. She struggled at first but eventually she went limp.

I slowly brought her to the ground that we fought and gave a small prayer for her. Before long, I carried her body to a specific place that could cremate her.

...

A few months later had passed since that day and the same thing happened to Henry.

My mentality slowly crumbled with each person who I new were killed by me.

Henry, Sarah, and the rest of my crew were killed by my hands as they fully went psycho. Though I've said before that people went psycho by cybernetics but there are also other causes that could make them go psycho.

Death of loved ones, tragedys that occurred towards them, drugs, forced.... I rather not talk about that one.

The others have died the same way I did with Sarah. The only one who helped me in those times were Evelyn.

Maybe it was because I was slowly suffering and wanting someone to cling on, but I began to cling to Evelyn. We both eventually fell in love and left Michigan to go to Caster City.

Again fate had other things planned for me. I impregnated Evelyn and we both chose to have it but that was around the time the incident with that fucker happened.

After what had happened, I fully embraced my psychosis and killed people. Eventually after I kept going into psychosis multiple times, I was able to control it by some extent.

I ended up being the savior of the city itself and destroyed the companys that oppressed the people there, but at the same time became someone I wasn't.

I don't know how this story is explained to you since I'm currently unstable due to remembering my past but I hope I said it properly. But as said in the beginning, I was drugged by Josh and you know the rest up till now.

...

I drove the truck i stole towards the checkpoint that I sent Jennifer to. I placed my earbuds in and slowly calmed myself down. I began to listen to the song that my mother played when cleaning when I was little.
