Crash!
A jarring sound of breaking glass made him frown.
Zhan Se provocatively swept a cup off of the coffee table onto the floor and sneered at him.
"Where are you planning to take me?!"
Narrowing his eyes slightly, Yan Zhan's expression was serene, "You'll know once we're there."
"What makes you think I will go with you?"
"Do you have a choice?"
Locking eyes with him, Zhan Se didn't argue, but her words were stubborn.
"If you're planning to use me against him, let's not waste each other's time."
Her voice was light, her tone even. As if indifferent about how she would be dealt with. But to the two men who knew her well, they understood the hidden meaning and emotion behind her words.
Yan Zhan smiled lightly, as if neither light nor heavy, "What do you think? What else can I do after I bring you there?"
Zhan Se also stared at him unflappably, raising her eyebrows sarcastically as she began to laugh.
"Looking at your face, are you prepared to go all-in?"
