Devon shook his head, thinking that Candice's plan was a bad idea. He couldn't deny that he was partly responsible for leading her on, but he couldn't let her hurt Olivia or himself any further. He knew it was time to put a stop to this before it spiraled out of control.
He picked up his phone and called his Beta. "I need you to keep an eye on Candice," he said firmly. "I don't want her causing any trouble here at the palace."
His Beta nodded, understanding the urgency in Devon's voice. "Consider it done, Alpha. I won't let anything happen to you or Olivia."
Devon couldn't help but feel grateful for the support of his pack, but he knew that he had to be vigilant. He couldn't let his guard down, not even for a moment. Candice was a force to be reckoned with and he knew that she would stop at nothing to get what she wanted, even if it meant destroying everything in her path.
