Achilles' Point of View:
I was sitting up, wondering what was going on when Isabelle came in, almost in a rush. She looked stressed and almost scared.
"Everything okay?" I asked and she shook her head in a no. Before saying anything else, I looked over at Carlos who followed inside and stood at a distance, his face curled up in a distaste.
"No," She whispered and my attention shifted to her again. "Achilles, I need to tell you something."
"Why should you be the one to tell him?" Carlos jumped in before I could say anything. "So you can twist the story the way you want it?" His words were unfamiliarly cold and the way he said it made him sound dark.
She scoffed. "No, go ahead. I've done nothing wrong to you."
"I didn't say that you did," He replied and looked at me. "But I'm sure everyone is aware of all the ones you did do wrong to."
"And he—"
