Upon hearing this, Lu Ming stood up abruptly in anger, stepped onto the sofa and collapsed over it, and without caring whether he was steady or not, he heavily punched Yue Feng in the face.

Jing Yiren sat on the sofa, crying into a complete mess of tears.
Lu Ming got up from Yue Feng, not bothering with him, and walked around to the front of the sofa.
He half-knelt before Jing Yiren, gently cradling her small face, tenderly wiping away the glistening tears from the corners of her eyes with the pads of his fingers.
Softly consoling her.
"Don't cry! Yue Feng was just scaring you, it's nothing."
