Third POV
Minutes turned to hours and passed by in a blur.
Elena was filled with joy as Asher's state returned to normal.
" Thank you , Lucinda …. I can't thank you enough for what you've done. I really appreciate and owe you one…"
" Oh no Elena , it was nothing if you were in my place I'm sure you'd do the same."
Elena expressed her gratitude.
" But I'm not the only one you need to thank you know," she said furrowing her brows.
It was Dante's blood that saved him after all. She really didn't want anything to do with him but she had to do the right thing.
She mustered the courage and found the right words to say to him.
She turned around and walked towards him, clearing her throat she spoke.
" Thank you, thank you so much for agreeing to donate blood and save our…save my son.
I really appreciate."
" He is our son , and I'd let the world to save him," he said in a firm tone.
" No Dante , he's mine…"
" No Elena ," he said in a firm calm tone.
