Valerica was watching tv, It had been hours and Kathrine's soundproof walls failed to live up to their name. The sounds coming from her daughters mouth were like bestial cries of a dying creature at best and she was honestly surprised that Apollo had not come out screaming out of the room in horror at certain points.
The dying creature upstairs did seem to quieten down five minutes ago and as she looked up curiously at the door upstairs, it suddenly opened. Valerica, not wanting to seem like she was staring up there, suddenly directed her attention back to the tv.
Valerica watched the tv seemingly with her direct attention, but her ears had all of her attention as she heard a set of footprints make their way to the kitchen, open the fridge and began gulping down a beverage.
