Darsen POV
Me and Cassiel blocked and struck at each other. She was still alive, but still, she was cautious of my now blessed blade.
I used the shadows to my advantage. Sinking in one and leaping out of another.
Half of my men were dead, but three quarter's of Cassiel's were as well.
At this point, a few angels swapped sides to us. Most were killed by their graces before being able to rip them out.
Those who survived were tossed Rose's special grace that had a blessing imbued in it to allow the shift when she wasn't there.
The ones who died were turned into those abominations.
"Cassiel, can't you see what he's doing? We don't need to be enemies. Rip out your grace and help us!"
"Oh please, I have no need to. Because if I stay true, then he'll reward me. And even if I fail, then he will punish me so dearly. He may give me immense pain or even shatter my soul."
Of course, the angel of death was a masochist… who just happened to have a crush on the Ruler.
Then I gripped my sword and shifted it into a whip. I knew how to deal with her type.
I spun around and grabbed her arm, yanking her into a punch. The angel flipped and I snapped down the whip, lashing her face.
She got up and dodged before returning the favor with a kick to the stomach.
I shifted my sword into its regular form before charging.
She blocked with her wrist guard and kicked me three times in a single second, launching me far back.
She launched towards me, but my whip was in place, it wrapped around her waist, then I crashed it against the ground.
I threw her around until she broke the whip and sword. Then I melded with the shadow before leaping out and kicking her back, stomping her to the ground.
I grabbed both of her wings and tried to rip them off, but then she spun quickly, knocking me off.
Then, as I kicked at her, another angel chopped my leg off.
I roared and fell back.
"Nasty cheaters."
Cassiel, bruised and, oddly enough, having never seemed happier, pointed her blade at me with a smile.
"Well, that was fun, but we won this battle."
The remainder of her faction gathered and slit the throats of many of my men.
Then Marcus rushed at Amy and Ausar, pushing them away. The duo understood and began sprinting.
Marcus battled and fought.
"NOW DARSEN!"
Cassiel looked at me in caution, but only Amy and Ausar were far enough.
"Shadow King Final move: Shadow Annihilation!!!"
Cassiel realized too late as the rest of her faction, and her were turned to dust, along with the remaining members of my force.
My body was torn apart. I breathed deeply.
"Sorry, Rose… I can't watch your back anymore."
[The Higher Faction, Cassiel's Grave, has been annihilated; no members have survived.]
[The Commander of Garden, Marcus, has died.]
[The High Commander of Garden, Darsen, has died.]

Dallel POV.
The Shadow skill's final move was seen. I saw the Ruler roar as he battled with Gabriel, such a strong move was unexpected.
So, one of the ruler's and two lords have fallen, but we defeated a whole fifth of the Ruler's army, with another fifth defecting. Two fifths still fought us.
Of course, Raphael's Library was still nowhere to be found.
Lucifer's light was nearly destroyed. Most understood that Rose and Lucifer aligned solely to best the Ruler, though her making him a new body was certainly shocking.
As I faced the abomination that used to be Uriel, Luma was forced to face two such abominations.
At least we wouldn't need to worry about Cassiel as an abomination, that blast reduced all in its radius to little more than dust.
"UAHOH I kkkkkilll yuuuu alluul.
Uriel's words barely made sense, her pronunciation made more sense as her power was warped, gone was her sense of protection as the leader of Uriel's Ward. All that was left was the monster.
I was filled with an immense rage at the Ruler's deeds.
I blocked a graceful blow.
The abominations were far stronger than their living selves. It was as though they learnt every technique from their neck being snapped originally.
I blocked her and slashed for her neck, but then she simply chopped her own head off to prevent me from cutting it.
It flew up as she continued to battle me.
Then I heard a cry from an angel.
"SEND IN THE FINAL WEAPON!!!"
Then a massive roar. A gate opened and out stepped a dragon, but it was warped. Rose's final sibling.
He was large, almost as large as Rose herself.
Then the abominations discharged from each of us and flew to the dragon, raising their arms as though expecting something.
Then it bit down before swallowing.
"Did… he eat them?"
I was frozen in fear as this beast roared.
Then a new roar, one of absolute fury.
Rose leapt out from Lucifer's court and shifted into a dragon. Sitting in front of her sibling, she made a growl that seemed like a prod. Like she was begging the dragon to remember her.
Then the warped dragon charged and bit down on Rose, but she began spasming and hit him off of her.
"Watch your own fight, elf!"
A demon launched towards me and kicked me off the building, but I grabbed his wing and throat before redirecting him below me.
When we landed on the ground, he splatted and I broke my ankle on my only working leg. I breathed through my teeth and began using healing magic as that was the first break I had.
I looked at Rose and saw her battling the dragon full force.
Then a voice erupted. It was sickeningly familiar.
By my power I declare Zephyr, the wind dragon, a supreme being. He will not have the drawbacks of the regular transformation.
The Author gave Zephyr the power of a supreme being, and the grey glow was evidence of that.
Rose gave a golden glow and they clashed.
The dragon was filled with so much power it looked like he was about to burst, but it was also rare that Rose had an opponent her size.
Luma then teleported me to her and I saw Michael in horrid condition.
"Where's Gabriel?"
Luma glared at the court.
"He and Lucifer are battling the Ruler."
"I see, I hope they win."
"I do too."
Then Michael spoke softly. His fighting spirit was gone.
"They won't, no one can defeat him."
"What?"
"It would be useless to explain… You'll figure it out."
