That's what he said—calm, smooth, mysterious—before handing her a delicate white robe and disappearing into an empty room in her massive house without another word, leaving behind a silence that throbbed with promise.
Delphine blinked, standing frozen with the robe in her hands. She didn't fully understand what this 'reward' was supposed to be... but deep down, a shiver of anticipation rippled through her spine.
Her skin already tingled at the idea. If anything, she knew exactly what was coming. She wasn't naïve. Not when her body was already reacting. She gulped thickly, licking her lips slowly as a drop of saliva escaped—her mouth slightly parted, breath quickening, her eyes clouded with growing hunger.
