As the saying goes: After the Laba Festival comes the New Year.
Fu Yisheng and Lu Qingqing set off on the tenth day of the lunar calendar, which is January 26th on the solar calendar.
Hours later, they arrived in Pengcheng, where Director Zhou personally picked them up from the airport. Ten cases of Maotai, ten pheasants, and ten big carp were all ready, along with a small black pig and a goat that Lu Qingqing had asked for; both were slaughtered and processed right before they got off the plane.
The chickens and fish were lively, each in their own wire cages and plastic water tanks.
These items, along with the things brought by Mr. and Mrs. Fu Yisheng, were loaded into a small truck prepared by Director Zhou and taken directly to Baiguo Village.
Director Zhou was very considerate in his arrangements; in addition to the small truck, he also prepared a nanny van for Fu Yisheng and Lu Qingqing, while the bodyguards, assistants, and private doctor rode in ordinary Bentley sedans.
