Chapter 157 - The first of many wars.

MC POV

From my side, a large circle of ice formed.

Ice eagles shot toward him.

He didn't move, but used his body and raw strength to shatter them.

Seeing his resilience, I was tempted to test it further.

My right hand moved, and more than six sharp white threads were fired at him.

He seemed to sense the danger and threw a punch forward.

The threads resisted, and when I added more pressure, I could feel a small cut forming on his hand—but in the end, he broke them with sheer physical might.

"Who are you? And why are you interfering in our battles?"

My eyes glowed with strong mental energy and focused on him.

"I'm just a guest... taking down the name of a false god?"

He looked clearly irritated at being called a false god, and this time, fired a deep energy beam in my direction.

I raised my fingers, and a powerful distorted borg formed in front of me, blocking his mystical energy.

Then my left hand moved to the side, forming a large yellow magic circle.

Five spears of light formed and launched toward his body.

The first didn't do much—but on the fourth strike, powerful flames pushed him back, and the fifth exploded, forming a dragon claw that hurled him into a nearby tree.

"You're underestimating my capabilities."

He got up, clearly annoyed, and charged at me—his patience already wearing thin.

I stood calmly in front of him as my Wook appeared in my right hand.

The moment his fist reached me,

He found himself facing my divine weapon.

"Why don't you back off a little, hm?" I said playfully as my weapon shone with golden light and ancient runes. With a simple command, the stone giant was thrown into the wall.

And so we fought for a few more minutes.

Or rather—I kept playing with him...

His resilience was high, which was mildly annoying, but breaking through his defenses wouldn't be hard.

As for his magical energy attacks, my shields, barriers, or borgs were more than enough to protect me—if I were ever hit.

So instead, I kept testing him...

Until I finally crushed him like a baked pancake.

After that, I sealed him—using a large number of seals and enchantments.

With my new Uzumaki-style seals, there was no way he could escape unless someone intervened.

His body was now covered in countless charms and enchantments.

"Now you look like a proper stone statue," I muttered as I watched his large body become still.

My eyes turned toward the distance—I still had to visit the battlefield.

"For now, I'll store his body inside a cave. I'll place isolation seals, magical illusions, and restrictive barriers. If I mix in some runes, enchantments, and fuinjutsu, anyone trying to break in will have to work very hard."

I murmured to myself and began my task—

Carrying his large body.

...

3rd POV

In a vast and primitive battlefield, countless individuals clashed.

Dinosaurs bit and slammed their bodies against humans and other beastkind.

A large T-Rex could be seen fighting two velociraptors at once.

Above, pterosaurs and other flying beasts circled and attacked various enemies.

Bolts of mystical energy occasionally blasted across the field, wreaking havoc and even launching creatures away—a single energy shot made a triceratops crash into a tree with a pained grunt.

The most striking sight, however, were two individuals.

One, a man riding a massive sabretooth tiger, wielded his weapon as he danced across the battlefield—his movements were ferocious and filled with bloodlust.

His body was already covered in red liquid, and the tiger's jaws dripped with flesh and blood.

On the other side, a woman rode a great raptor with a massive serpent wrapped around her neck.

She wielded a powerful spear, piercing through her enemies at high speed, dancing with wild elegance.

At one point, her weapon clashed against the staff of a stone-man.

They began to fight—

Until the sabretooth rider suddenly appeared behind the stone-man and used his great blade to slice his neck.

His muscles pulsed with power, charisma, and wild energy.

The battle raged on, with casualties on both sides.

The enchanted weapons of the enemies were eventually overwhelmed by the sheer number of dinosaurs and the tribe's advanced tech.

Metal and energy shields helped defend them, while their electric, gunpowder, and other weapons gave them a decent advantage.

A few hours later…

The battle was over.

The victors were Ka-Zar and his tribe.

The stench of death, blood, and destruction lingered in the air.

A massive battlefield had finally come to a close.

In the distance, a lone figure climbed onto a high tree branch.

His body still bore traces of red liquid, and a faint aura of blood surrounded him.

He sat down, lifted a hand—and was immediately cleansed by mystical energy.

He began to meditate, clearing the battlefield's energy from his body and mind.

MC POV

After sealing the so-called god inside the mountain,

I returned to the battlefield.

I watched for a while, then used Zetsu and my ghostlineage to blend in as an assassin.

Using my threads, combat arts, and assassination skills, I swiftly and efficiently took down many targets.

Some were erased completely; others fell unconscious.

When the battle ended, I climbed the tree and cleaned myself.

My eyes looked down on the destruction.

I had been in many battle simulations, even some inside huge virtual training rooms...

But this was my first true war—my first battle between two actual factions.

Still, I had the feeling it wouldn't be the last.

I sighed, watching the aftermath below.

"War, huh... I wonder how many more will come."

I murmured softly as my eyes focused on the skies above,

As if I could somehow see far into the future...

There, wars between different races, planets, human factions, and even what looked like colliding timelines played out.

Explosions, chaos—an infinite storm of destruction.

....

Two Days Later

I was in a small cabin, playing cards with a little boy.

"So... Garokk was sealed by you, at those coordinates?" Ka-Zar asked.

"Yes. The cave is sealed with multiple layers of barriers and restrictions.

And his body and soul are sealed too.

Honestly, breaking any of those defenses would be extremely difficult.

No one here should be able to do it.

Even if powerful sorcerers or witches enter the jungle, it won't be easy for them to break through."

That's the truth.

I used a fusion of three types of arcane arts and sealing techniques—all with completely different laws and logic from this world.

Deciphering even one of them would be hard—deciphering the fusion would be far worse.

As for breaking them by brute force, it'd be nearly impossible.

The defenses include cursed seals, rune-triggered energy attacks, and a final trap—a special effect:

The most dangerous warlock spell I know.

One I don't often use directly...

Avada Kedavra.

A spell that uses death energy to strike enemies.

Of course, unlike in Harry Potter, that spell isn't invincible.

If someone uses strong enough energy, vitality, or barriers, it can be blocked.

But its lethality is still incredibly high.

And so, I left a beautiful plaque next to the cave.

Warning of the danger.

That attempting to enter may result in fatal consequences.

"I see."

"And what happened to the rest of the combat and negotiations? I plan to leave in about a day."

"The slaves were freed.

The warriors who surrendered with honor joined our tribe or nearby allied tribes."

"As for the SHIELD agreement, it worked well.

We became allies in case of external threats and established a resource and information exchange pact."

I nodded.

Ka-Zar looked at me with a smile.

"My wife and son really like you, Adrian.

If you ever want to visit our lands, you're always welcome."

I smiled, now that I wasn't wearing my disguise, and replied:

"Of course. And if you or little Matthew want to visit me, you're both welcome.

I have a younger brother—he's a bit older than Matthew."

The boy's eyes sparkled, and his father gave a quiet nod.

We kept talking until it was time to return to the main city.

Using the Bus, Coulson's team moved on to their next mission,

While other mediators and researchers—personally sent by Fury—arrived to take our place.
