Inside the Sanctuary, the seventy-two Demon Pillars stood on the left side of the grand hall. Opposite them were the retinue of the Ancient God of Wisdom, Ollian. Unlike Belial, Ollian had few followers—only a dozen or so—but each one was extraordinarily powerful, possessing strength bordering on that of a Main God.
If individual might were compared, Belial was undoubtedly stronger. As an Ancient God governing Power, it was natural for Him to surpass Ollian. However, in a battle of life and death, overall strength would determine the outcome. Was it not Ashes' comprehensive strength that allowed Her to seal them away?
Ollian, with His unusually long arms, sat on an iron throne beside Belial, His head lowered as if in a nap. Ever since His return, Ollian had developed a habit of sleeping more than a dozen hours a day, resembling a lazy cat.
Old habits are difficult to change—even for gods.
