The fallen cities were effortlessly recaptured. Not a single enemy soldier remained within, and the Church's Army easily took over the towns. After a brief rest, they marched toward the next city.
The trains pressed forward against the cold winds. Beyond Warsaw was Poznan, where the soldiers gathered and orderly assembled at the eastern border of the Kingdom of Frederick.
The pace was not fast; rather, it was leisurely. It took half a month to arrange the formations. At this point, Katerina had also caught up with the army.
"Priest! Why haven't you launched an attack yet? What are you waiting for?"
Upon entering the command center, Katerina impatiently asked. All traces of her earlier gloom disappeared; her eyes were bright, eager, and even her fatigue seemed greatly diminished.
