Returning to the transfer station on Iron Ball, Gu Tao finished handing over his work, and the new observer was ready to set off.
"Hey."
Gu Tao stopped the new observer outside the administrative center and handed him a box: "Help me deliver this to the address up there, just say that I said it, that I can't make it to her wedding, and let this be a memento."
"Alright." The new observer held the box: "Chairman, is there anything else you need me to do?"
"No, just remember to try the mutton cakes over there when you get there, they're really good."
"Understood, thank you, Chairman, for this opportunity."
The new observer was a young man, reportedly just out of school not long ago, having pulled some strings, but Gu Tao didn't mind, because becoming an observer requires more than just connections. The qualities, mindset, culture, etc., all need to be assessed, so it can be generally assured that every observer is trustworthy.
"Do well, at your age, anything is possible."
"Yes!"
