FRUIT FLIES
]Fruit Flies are among the most visually distinct of the insect-human hybrids, embodying a more alien aesthetic compared to the sturdy Ants or corrosive Termites. Their elongated, chitinous faces are marked by clusters of four to six compound eyes, granting them exceptional visual acuity. These multifaceted eyes allow them to detect even the faintest movements across wide ranges, tracking multiple targets with surgical precision and making them unmatched scouts.
Their bodies are lean and lightly armored, optimized for speed and flight rather than brute strength and defense. Two pairs of arms allow them to unleash rapid flurries of punches in close combat, striking faster than the untrained eyes can follow. Though physically among the weakest insects in this world, their reflexes and agility surpass those of the average military Ant. Only Ants of Lieutenant rank or higher can match or be faster than their speed; Corporal-level Ants often struggle just to keep up.
Combat for Fruit Flies emphasizes hit-and-run tactics, evasive maneuvers, and overwhelming disorientation. Their wings, producing a high-frequency hum, allow them to dash through aerial skirmishes with uncanny grace.
