Third person POV
"Oh, come on!" Lukas said to Medusa in annoyance. "Really?!"
"I'm so sorry, Lukas-kun!" Medusa apologized to him immediately and embarrassingly. "I'll fix all of this now!"
But, after Lukas saying his response to Medusa, Russell, hearing Lukas' little French accent, went to Lukas while still shielding his eyes from Medusa's snakes and asked, "Hey, excuse me, kid, are you an Otherworlder?" Lukas heard that and glanced at him. "Um, no, but my father was. Why?"
"No wonder with your French accent."
"Oh, how did you know that?"
"I am an Otherworlder, too."
Lukas was astonished to hear that. "Wait, what?"
Russell then positively nodded. "Yes."
"Man!" Lukas was still astonished but was now calming down while being excited because of this. "That was quite awesome! Also, what is your occupation, sir?"
Showing his bus driver's license, Russell replied, "I am a bus driver from the Southern Plains."
Seeing it, Lukas was astonished again. "Woah, it's like what my father would use to tell stories about!"
Putting his license back, Russell responded, "Is that so?"
"Yup!"
But both boys then looked back at Medusa with cold, upsettingly glares at her while Russell was using his notebook as a shield from Medusa's snakes' sight.
"You better fix what you did!" both said to her coldly.
"Y-Yes, I will!" Medusa responded back, before putting on her hood, which was the same she wore yesterday on the Weston Bridge, to hide her stone-turning snakes.
Seeing that, Aren was alerted by it while taking off his silver plate. "That's the same hood Russell and I saw on the Weston Bridge yesterday!"
"Huh? What?" Jaria asked while she and the others took off their eye shields because Medusa's snakes are out of sight now.
"Yes, me and Russell saw that yesterday."
Gregory was disappointed that Medusa's character was like that, far from what Greek mythology would say.
And so, all of them went down the mountain so Medusa would fix her mistakes. Then, she did so with her ability called Destoner, which reverses anything that had been turned to stone. It took over half an hour for her to do so with all the people she accidentally turned into stone, and after all that, she apologized to them for everything. Despite the time took to do all these, all mending were fixed, and Medusa was now with good terms with these people. Seeing all that, around Kate-Raler, Russell and his friends couldn't help but be astonished with a good amount of awe mixed into it. Even Gregory was stunned to see that Medusa can turn someone into stone with her snakes on her head and can destone anyone back to normal.
After all that, Lukas was happy that Medusa had fixed up her mistakes and was now in good term with everyone. Then, Lukas said to Russell and his group, "Hey, wanna go to my father's home?"
"Sure, we'll go with you!" Jaria responded readily.
"We're now wondering what your father's job is, too," Aren humbly added.
"Sure!" Russell responded with adding.
And so, Lukas tagged along with them to his father's home, which was a compound surrounded by stone walls on all four sides. It had a big main gate in Korean-style, as well as a sign that indicates who owns the place. It was, of course, the Konyvet Family, which Lukas was a part of. The place had a big French-style house and 2 separate, smaller ones, one for canning and one for a collection of books, which Lukas' Otherworlder father was an avid book collector even in his previous life. Lukas himself also likes books and reads them in his free time, especially after school.
