This wasn't what Sylas cared about, not in the slightest. The idea that he would need help to get revenge against her father, or even that he had spared the man more than a fleeting thought since what occurred, was little more than a joke.
Sylas wasn't someone who got angry very easily, and when he did get angry, it was usually because of confounding events that took place over quite a long period of time.
That was all to say that if he was going to get angry, it needed to be something that was actually worth his energy, and a petty man "protecting" his daughter wasn't anywhere near Sylas' list of priorities.
To Sylas, to be angry at someone required him to think that they were on the same level as he was. Even when he killed Lucius, it was more about wiping the smugness off the Grimblade family, and the weight of a Silver Demerit, than the man himself.
Others might think that Sylas was nursing a grudge against the Duchess' father, but in action…?
