The Hope of the Spirit Beasts?
Ye Feng was stunned.
Tang San… had actually become the hope for the revival of the Spirit Beasts?
Ye Feng found it hard to believe. He was curious—how had Tang San obtained the Nine Trials of the Dragon God in one leap?
As the God of Creation, Ye Feng had once considered forcibly defeating the Silver Dragon King and reading her memories to uncover the truth. It would've been easy. But in the end, he didn't bother.
It was meaningless.
"Hmph."
Ye Feng chuckled with arrogance, "Back then, even the five supreme gods defeated the Dragon God. Now that it's Tang San, do you think he stands a chance? He's no different. He can still be crushed."
The Silver Dragon King remained silent, her expression solemn.
The God Realm was no longer what it used to be. Even she, in her heart, lacked faith in Tang San.
Back then, the Nine Dragon Kings of the beast race, accompanied by numerous second- and third-level gods, and an army of millions of divine beasts, had still fallen to the might of the human gods and the five supreme deities.
Now, after a century of recovery, the strength of the human gods had likely returned. Even if Tang San succeeded in becoming a Dragon God, the odds of a comeback… were slim to none.
Turning around, Ye Feng gently grasped Xiao Wu's hand. "Xiao Wu, let's go."
Xiao Wu nodded softly. "Thank you, Brother."
"What are you thanking me for?"
"Thank you for sparing her, my Lord."
"I just don't see the point in killing her," Ye Feng said casually.
"Wouldn't that mean this whole trip was for nothing?"
"It's not a wasted trip," he replied, smiling faintly. "At least now we know which spirit Tang San will inherit."
As Ye Feng and Xiao Wu continued their conversation, space rippled around them, and they disappeared at the edge of the Lake of Life. Although they were gone, Ye Feng's voice still echoed through the air.
"Silver Dragon King, the cooperation between humans and spirit beasts won't end because of this."

Half a Month Later
A group of three people arrived at a quiet mountain village.
One of them was bound by a beam of energy. His hair was disheveled, and his beard was wild. The other two were a man and a woman—handsome and elegant, graceful and beautiful.
As for the scruffy man, he was dragged like a human-shaped kite, tethered to a thin string in the man's hand.
"Feng, up ahead is the village where the outer disciples of Clear Sky Clan live," Bibi Dong said, pointing toward a vaguely visible settlement in the distance.
At first glance, it appeared to be an ordinary village. The buildings were humble, and several farmers could be seen laboring in the fields. But there was something different about them.
Unlike typical farmers, these people were strong—far too strong.
One man plowed the land with his own strength, faster than any ox or even a modern tractor.
A teenager carried three large sacks of wheat on his back as if it were nothing.
These small details alone were enough to reveal that this was no normal farming village. It was a settlement of spirit masters.
"Dong'er, you didn't need to come with me," Ye Feng said.
"Tang Hao killed my parents-in-law. I can't just stand by," Bibi Dong replied, her voice firm and unwavering.
Ye Feng nodded. There was nothing more to say. Bibi Dong had told him everything about her parents-in-law.
This journey was not just for vengeance—it was retribution. Tang Hao would pay the price for their deaths.
"Feng, what do you plan to do with the outer disciples? Many of them share Clear Sky Clan bloodline, but just like the Speed Clan, some awakened different spirits—not the Clear Sky Hammer."
Ye Feng glanced at her. "Are you asking me to spare them?"
She nodded, bringing up the Speed Clan as a reference.
The Strength Clan, one of Clear Sky Clan four affiliated sects, had long since pledged allegiance to Ye Feng, even before the Elite Spirit Master Academy Competition.
After the United Nations was formed, the Strength Clan had convinced the Control, Speed, and Medicine Clans to join as well. Now, these four clans played crucial roles in governance. Alongside the former Spirit Hall, they worked to better the lives of civilians and spirit masters alike.
Bibi Dong's mention of the Speed Clan was her way of pleading for these outer disciples.
Ye Feng narrowed his eyes and stared at her.
She blinked, confused, brushing her face with her slender fingers. "What's wrong?"
"I just didn't expect the Rakshasa God to show mercy," he said with a playful smile.
"So you'll let them go?" Bibi Dong's eyes lit up with hope.
Ye Feng could sense that ever since the system had transferred Bibi Dong's infatuation from Yu Xiaogang to him, she had changed. The rigid, cold-hearted ruler of Spirit Hall was gone. In her place stood someone far more human.
The Qian Family's foundation had been shaken. The suffocating aristocratic system had been abolished. Change was in the air.
It was as if the former Holy Maiden had returned.
"I'll spare them," Ye Feng said finally. "But if they waste that mercy, I won't hesitate to act."
"Okay," Bibi Dong beamed and clutched his arm.
From behind, Tang Hao's voice rang out, full of venom.
"Ye Feng! Bibi Dong! You two are monsters!"
Ye Feng looked over his shoulder, eyes narrowing slightly.
"Tang Hao, you killed my parents," he said coldly. "I will erase Clear Sky Clan from this world. Actions have consequences. You'll witness your Clan's destruction with your own eyes."
---
A child in the village gasped, pointing into the sky. "Hey, look! A human-shaped kite!"
Another corrected him, eyes wide. "That's not a kite—it's a man!"
Some farmers paused their work, their expressions turning serious. To suspend a person in the air like that…
Soul Saint? Impossible.
Spirit Douluo? Still unlikely.
No, it could only be a Titled Douluo.
As Ye Feng and Bibi Dong reached the entrance of the village, four or five farmers blocked their path.
"Stop!" one of them barked. "Outsiders aren't welcome here!"
Ye Feng didn't break stride. "Cut the act. I know you're all outer disciples of Clear Sky Clan. Anyone who doesn't leave within the time it takes to burn a stick of incense… will die with this village."
