The butler entered the room, and a middle-aged woman followed him in.
The middle-aged woman had a somewhat out-of-shape figure, and even though she wore the Xiang Family's staff uniform, she lacked any presence, resembling the more common, down-to-earth type of woman.
Wang Shan glanced at her indifferently, clearly unimpressed with such a low-class maid. "I've never seen this maid before!"
"She was recently hired, just passed her probationary period. Our Xiang Family usually has strict requirements for workers, but this older sister is very conscientious and meticulous in her work, so she was accepted despite the norms. I'm sure she will take good care of Miss Wang!" the butler said respectfully.
"Then please thank Auntie for me," Wang Shan said, still very polite to the butler.
Once the butler had left, the bedroom contained only Zhong Lingling and the new maid.
"Miss Wang, you can call me Auntie Wu," Auntie Wu said timidly.
Wang Shan couldn't be bothered with her.
