Gu Xixi looked at her uncle.
"How am I supposed to go on in this company?" She whined.
"But Xixi there is nothing that I can do." Gu Zichen spoke.
Even though Cheng Xiao was not Xu Kai's secretary anymore, it didn't mean that they could maltreat her anytime they wanted.
"Why not? You have done it before so why not now? What is so special about her?" Shen asked with a little bit of anger.
"Xixi, you know in this company no one dared to mess with her." He spoke trying to calm her down.
"Even the time she resigned, HR couldn't even process her resignation letter. That is how much people respect and are scared of her." Gu Zichen tried to talk sense into her.
"But she took him away from me." She whined again.
"She took who away?" Gu Zichen asked in confusion.
"Xu Kai!" She said crossing her hands on her chest.
"The CEO?" Gu Zichen asked.
"Yes uncle, I have been admiring him for a long time. It is the only reason why I asked you to get me a job here." She confessed her feeling for Xu Kai to her uncle.
"This...this!" He stuttered but could not find words to say, after all what could anyone say when your niece tells you of the man she loves.
"I want him to be mine!" She said with determination.
"That is going to be hard, the CEO is known for his coldness towards women. He never lets any woman close to him." Her uncle advised.
"Cheng Xiao got close to him, why won't I?" She spoke
"If anything goes wrong our Gu family will not be able to take it." He warned.
This was The XU KAI they were talking about, the entire company knew that whenever woman threw themselves at him, they would not meet a good ending. Yet his niece was so determined to walk into the fire.
If anything went wrong, their family was as good as finished. Why did his niece have to go and create problems with Cheng Xiao of all people. Had it been someone else, he would not have hesitated to fire them, but how could he fire Cheng Xiao.
'COME TO MY OFFICE!' Cheng Xiao read the message Xu Kai sent to her and let out a sigh. His message now after this mess.
'I CAN'T I AM BUSY.' She texted back.
Xu Kai read the message with a smirk. 'COME NOW, OR I WILL COME TO YOU.' He texted back. Cheng Xiao read the message and held her tongue, the words that she wanted to say, she has to swallow them back.
"I am coming." Cheng Xiao informed Su Li, Su Li nodded, and Cheng Xiao stoop up from her desk and left.
As she got inside the lift, she started to count to calm herself down from killing him.
