Kalix Noah's POV
I still remember what happened last night as soon as I wake up. I was ashamed of my wife. I woke up around five in the morning and left the bed in silence.
I end up doing some sparring exercises with Axel even if he's still sleepy when I knock on his quarters. "Wait!" he roars.
He raised his palm, which made me stop. I look at him, confused. "Can we take a break, Your Highness? You will kill me in dehydration if we don't stop for a moment. I've been sweating for an hour!" Axel exclaims.
I realize that I'm also soaked in sweat. We both sit on the wooden bench at the right side of the royal palace's backyard garden. He gives me a wooden bottle of water. I opened it and took some sips.
"Your Highness, are you okay? Why do I feel like you're stressed and restless at the same time?" he inquires.
My wife's soldiers had a strong empathetic instinct, plus he's a doctor as well. I lean back and groan.
"Something happened last night that frustrated me," I shared.
