Chapter 426 - Chapter 426

"Hahaha! Taurus, what's wrong? Are you only capable of scurrying around like a rat now?!"

Gordon laughed arrogantly, mocking Hasgard.

"What have they been through? Why is their Cosmo so powerful now—and filled with such killing intent?"

Hasgard frowned at Gordon. He could sense that this invading Hades Army was far more brutal than before.

Whether it was their killing intent or Cosmo, both were much fiercer than in the past.

He couldn't figure out what these Specters had gone through in such a short time.

But if Hasgard knew, he would surely understand.

In order to cultivate Xenomorphs, Minos had selected several Specters to serve as their breeding hosts.

Ordinary Specters couldn't endure it—the pain of the Chestbursters growing inside them would kill them.

Only the strongest Specters like Gordon and Rhadamanthys could withstand it longer.

And in that endless cycle of torture, they built up tremendous hatred and killing intent, making their will even stronger.

Their Cosmo had grown stronger and more violent through that suffering.

That was why this Hades Army had become far more powerful, and their invasion much more ferocious.

Gemini Temple – Now a Sea of Lava and Fire

Aeacus and Defteros stood on opposite sides.

"As expected of Gemini—you really can fight. That's why taking revenge is so satisfying!!"

Aeacus finished speaking, and the surrounding flames formed a blazing tornado that enveloped Defteros.

This fiery vortex had an extremely destructive power—enough to instantly kill a Silver Saint.

But the next moment, an even more intense heat erupted from within, followed by a terrifying explosion that tore the firestorm into countless burning sparks.

"Don't make me laugh. Trash who already died once—go die a second time!"

Defteros crossed his arms.

"Galaxian Explosion!!"

Facing Defteros's ultimate technique, Aeacus refused to back down.

"Galactic Illusion!!"

Cancer Temple

Queen, driven by vengeance, engaged Manigold in another battle.

Leo Temple

Rhadamanthys, now in his Wyvern form, held Regulus by the head.

Regulus was seriously injured, drenched in blood.

"Damn it… how is there still such a gap? I even asked Cardia to mimic your movements so I could find a way to beat you."

Regulus looked at Rhadamanthys in disbelief.

He had trained countless times to defeat him, pleading with Cardia to simulate Rhadamanthys's fighting style.

Yet, after clashing with the real Rhadamanthys, he was defeated in less than a hundred rounds.

"You're just a brat, but you did perform decently."

Rhadamanthys wiped the blood from his forehead and clenched his fist.

"Too bad I've grown much stronger. A mere Scorpio could never hope to imitate me."

He raised Regulus so their eyes met.

"You're Ilias's son? Your father was powerful. You're not even close to him."

Regulus's pupils dilated, his expression filled with unwillingness.

"Now die—Greatest Caution!!"

Rhadamanthys pointed his left hand at Regulus, compressing powerful dark energy into his palm before unleashing a barrage of light bullets like a machine gun.

The devastating attack flung Regulus into the air, tearing his body apart further and splattering blood across the ground.

"Thud!"

Suddenly, a golden barrier appeared in front of Regulus, blocking the rest of the assault.

"Hm!?"

Rhadamanthys looked toward the exit of the Leo Temple.

Asmita was slowly walking in.

He checked the unconscious Regulus and confirmed he wasn't in mortal danger before standing up.

"Sorry. His father once did me a great favor—I can't let you kill him."

Asmita said calmly.

"So you're the man closest to the gods—Asmita of Virgo. Hah, if I kill you, it'll be a massive loss for the Saints!"

Rhadamanthys sneered.

"If you think you can do it, go ahead and try."

Asmita raised both hands, palms together, gathering a mighty Cosmo between them.

It was as if countless galaxies were being compressed between his palms.

Rhadamanthys likewise raised his Cosmo to the limit.

"Demon Subjugation!"

"Greatest Caution!"

As their ultimate moves clashed, black and gold beams of light soared into the sky.

They could be seen throughout all of Sanctuary.

Libra Temple

This time, the poison released by Sylphid was even more intense—and corrosive.

"What's going on with your poison? Why is it more potent and even… stranger than last time?"

Dohko lay on the ground in pain, demanding an answer.

"Probably the result of being infected by a Xenomorph. For Minos's plan, my body was used to breed one of them. I was constantly tortured by those disgusting bugs devouring everything inside me—do you know how that felt?"

Sylphid's face twisted with rage.

Even recalling the experience made his whole body tense with agony.

"It disgusted and tormented me—but I got stronger from it. My poison fused with the Chestburster's blood and became even more potent. You can't handle it now, Dohko!"

Sylphid roared, eyes blazing with madness.

"With my poison, I will kill all Saints and take Athena's head!"

He spat the words coldly.

"Heh… ridiculous. You think poison of that level is enough to defeat us?"

A playful, mocking voice echoed across the hall.

Red flower petals and crimson mist drifted into the temple.

The mist weakened Sylphid's poison.

"Who's there?! Who's weakening my poison?!"

Sylphid turned in shock toward the direction of the red mist.

A man in a Gold Cloth, tall and graceful with long pale-blue hair and delicate features, walked toward them.

It was Pisces—Albafica.

"Albafica! What are you doing here? You left your temple?!"

Dohko cried out in shock.

In a battle like this, Gold Saints were never supposed to abandon their temples!

"The Pope said you couldn't handle Sylphid's poison. He told me to come. Besides, I wanted to see this man you spoke of… he's not that impressive."

Albafica smiled lightly as he looked at Sylphid.

"Heh… you're that Pisces with the poison blood—Albafica. I've heard of you. Come then, let's find out whose poison is deadlier."

Sylphid sneered, his fighting spirit igniting.

"Let's find out, then. Dohko, go take a break."

Albafica suddenly appeared at Dohko's side—and kicked him clean out of the Libra Temple.

"Hey!!!"

Dohko shouted, completely stunned by Albafica's casual brutality.
