Wufu had a night full of dreams, in which she returned to her past life and to the days when she was lonely and helpless, having struggled and endured, just to grant herself some freedom.
When she woke from the dream, she hugged the quilt as she sat up in bed, looking somewhat dazed.
"Miss, are you awake?" Purple Jade walked past the screen and upon seeing Wufu sitting in a daze, smiled and said, "Miss, why didn't you call for your servant to attend to you?"
Wufu said, "Oh, I've just woken up." She yawned, threw back the quilt, got off the couch to put on her shoes, and asked, "Is there some happy news? You look pleased."
"Indeed, there is great news. Miss, last night, all those abducted children were found!" Purple Jade said with a smile.
Wufu was startled, "Really? So soon?"
