Sevra took an unconscious step backward as her hand moved to her hidden blades. The thought actually hadn't occurred to her because of how focused she was on the 'bigger threat', but now… the man's hand raised up in a fairly unoffensive gesture.
"This is what we call a common sense assessment. Recognition that a variable has given ranges is not any sort of proof that an intent exists within a system to force them toward one of those extremes."
