*Swish!*
The faint rustle of fabric caused Kakashi to snap to attention. Instinctively, he rose from his seat, kunai drawn and held firmly across his chest in a defensive stance.
But upon recognizing the figure before him, his grip relaxed, and confusion flickered across his visible eye. "Sensei? Why are you here so late?"
His gaze caught on the distinctive cloak and hat—formal attire that immediately flipped a switch in Kakashi's mind. Work mode engaged.
"Did something happen, Hokage-sama?" Kakashi asked, voice low and urgent.
Namikaze Minato's expression was grave as he nodded. "I've just received intel. An enemy plans to release the Nine-Tails tomorrow. And this foe... possesses the Mangekyō Sharingan."
Kakashi's brow furrowed in confusion. His hand instinctively moved to the forehead protector beneath which Obito's eye was concealed.
Minato's eyes scanned the tense scene, his voice dropping to a serious tone. "Time is tight, Kakashi. We must head to the Uchiha clan district immediately. Along the way, I'll explain what we know about the enemy and where I need your assistance."

…
'Secret Scroll?' The term resonated deeply in Uchiha Yun's mind, prompting him to sink into contemplative silence. The reason the plug-in lacked an instruction manual was clear: it was designed to be unraveled piece by piece.
From the cascade of information, it became evident the Secret Scroll appeared because the change in Minato's fate had reached its critical 100%. These additional chips, foreign to Minato's original essence, were incredible assets.
One such chip—perfect resurrection through a clone—represented an extra life granted after death. That meant the original plan had to be revised.
Had Yun known earlier, he might have played his hand differently. Perhaps by orchestrating subtle trouble for Minato's future daughter-in-law? Shaking off such distracting thoughts, Yun forced his focus back to the eight chips displayed before him.
The Fourth Hokage Namikaze Minato originally possessed only seven recognized bargaining chips according to the Information Exchange. Among those, the wind-attribute chakra was particularly potent since it could directly fuse with his bloodline.
Now, Yun faced a difficult decision: choose four chips from the expanded eight, which meant sacrificing one of the four he had meticulously prepared earlier and incorporating the new Secret Scroll.
…
The first, most vital chip was clear: S-level Neural Reflex Speed.
Since arriving in this world, Yun understood one undeniable truth—the chasm separating people was largely determined by reaction speed.
Decades of comfort in his previous life had dulled his reflexes compared to others his age. Even Naruto, once a laggard before entering the Ninja Academy, could effortlessly cross the treacherous single-plank bridge.
While his physical senses improved thanks to his soul transmigration, his reaction speed remained a persistent weakness.
The undisputed fastest in this world was Minato.
After using the Flying Thunder God Second Stage, and a Rasengan back to back, Minato could still imprint his Flying Thunder God Mark on Obito. Although the Second Hokage had originally created the Flying Thunder God Technique, it was Minato who perfected and unleashed its full potential.
The Flying Thunder God Technique enabled instantaneous teleportation to marked coordinates—but without lightning-fast neural reflexes, it was tantamount to charging headlong into a hail of enemy shuriken.
…
Next, Yun selected:
[Space-Time Ninjutsu Talent]
[Flying Thunder God Technique (Namikaze Minato version)]
[Secret Scroll: Clone]
The trade-off meant he had to abandon the sealing techniques he had originally planned.
The vast array of sealing techniques—Four Symbols Seal, Eight Trigrams Seal (a double Four Symbols Seal), Contract Seal, Tail-Locking Seal—all demanded special skill.
Most importantly, the Adamantine Sealing Chains, which required innate Uzumaki clan talent, could not be acquired lightly.
(T.L Note: I know you guys will say that the Adamantine Sealing Chains are a bloodline-ability of the Uzumaki clan like Kekkei Genkais and thus can't be learnt just with talent. But hear me out…
The Description of Adamantine Sealing Chains in wiki is: This is a sealing technique that is characteristic of the Uzumaki clan. Users produce chains made out of their own chakra, which typically emerge from their torso. Users control the chains as they extend outwards from their body, most commonly to wrap around targets and restrain them.
So, I concluded that it is more of a secret-technique like Hozuki clan's Body Liquefying Jutsu. It's just that even if people get it from the Uzumaki clan, they might not able to use it without Uzumaki's talent and characteristics)
Ultimately, Yun removed all sealing techniques from his current arsenal.
Space-Time Ninjutsu talent and the Flying Thunder God technique were inseparable—a package deal. While the technique wasn't exclusive to Minato, all three of the current Hokage's elite guards wielded it.
But Yun, recalling Minato's earlier predicament, dared not leave anything to chance.
Originally, if this first encounter tonight failed, Yun had planned to fight barehanded during the Nine-Tails' Riot and use his destiny as leverage to escape disaster with his family.
But since this initial transaction with Minato had gone smoothly, he could no longer rely solely on fate.
…
Outside the Uchiha clan district, Minato and Kakashi halted.
"Kakashi, do you think we should bring a fruit basket or something?"
Kakashi was still reeling from the torrent of information Minato had unloaded during their journey.
His left eye, Obito's leftover, bore the Mangekyō Sharingan. Legends spoke of Uchiha Madara using that power to control the Nine-Tails.
'Could this power be tied to the past events?'
*Bang!*
A sharp slap to his head snapped Kakashi back to reality. He turned with an exasperated expression, "Sensei, where would we buy a fruit basket at this hour? And didn't you say time was short?"
Minato scratched his head sheepishly. "Fugaku's younger son was recently born. You know that kid has the same name as Lord Third's father, so I thought a fruit basket might be appropriate."
Kakashi rubbed his mask in disbelief, "Sensei, do you really think a kid not yet a year old is awake right now?"
*Swish!*
At that moment, a Jonin clad in the village standard-issue vest appeared, bowing slightly.
"Hokage-sama, is something wrong that you've come at this hour?"
Minato's expression softened with apology. "Sorry to trouble you so late. I have an urgent matter and would like Captain Fugaku's help. Is he awake?"
The Uchiha Jonin nodded his head. "Captain is still at the Police Force headquarters. He's been... rather busy lately. Please follow me; I'll take you there so you won't waste time."
The three set off towards the Police Force headquarters, though Minato noticed subtle hesitation in the Uchiha ninja's demeanor.
How strange, he thought, for an Uchiha to hesitate to speak to the Hokage—and yet hold a position in the Police Force.
…
Inside the building, a door opened, revealing Fugaku.
"Captain, the Hokage-sama is here."
Fugaku's eyes narrowed suspiciously at Minato's late-night visit, but he bowed respectfully.
"Greetings, Hokage-sama."
Minato smiled and paused before speaking, "Captain Fugaku, I've come seeking your aid. But first... could you please call Uchiha Shisui?"
Fugaku's eyes widened in surprise. He glanced toward the Jonin who was about to leave.
Minato specifically requested Shisui, yet Fugaku barely knew the man. Although Shisui had earned the title 'Shisui of the Body Flicker' during the Third Great Ninja War, Minato only assumed the Hokage mantle after Shisui's return to the Police Force. Their paths rarely crossed.
But what could require both Shisui and Fugaku's presence?
