Even the trash cans were knocked over, with many bullet casings scattered on the ground, and a few homeless people could be seen huddled in the corners, at a loss for what to do.
This was a popular spot for entertainment and dining, with many restaurants, bars, and night markets, as well as a number of dilapidated shops.
Usually, the place was quite lively, but last night, the White House was attacked, and the National Guard planned to take over the city, with about 200 soldiers coming to the Southwest District to urge the people to go home and sleep.
Damn...
On the streets, people drinking alcohol and taking drugs to excess, including Black people, White people, and minorities, started a "fist and foot" game with the military. Someone pulled out a bottle from a bar to make a makeshift Molotov cocktail and hurled it at the soldiers.
Anyway...
Last night was thrilling!
