Listening to the busy signal on the phone, Fernando Collor de Mello took a deep breath, but the evil fire inside him wouldn't subside. He grabbed the phone and smashed it on the ground, got up, walked out of the office, and shouted twice as he opened the door.
But... there was no one.
Suddenly sensing something was amiss, he was about to run back when he heard footsteps, and a group of people emerged from the corridor.
Leading them was the Labor Party leader Luz Inasi Lu Dasilva!
And on either side were the heads of the three military branches, the Vice President, and various ministers.
"Dasilva, what are you doing? Rebelling?!!" De Melo shouted in shock and fear upon seeing this scene.
"We are here to ask Mr. President to resign. You've been quite unbecoming lately, so let us help you maintain dignity!"
"We cannot let Brazil continue like this, President De Melo, resign." Army Commander Alves Gomez de Oliveira said loudly, looking at De Melo with a hostile gaze.
